CARPD Partners with CSDA for Special District Legislative Days 2025
CARPD is a proud Partner of the 2025 Special Districts Legislative Days, scheduled for May 20 - 21 at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento, an interactive and informative two-day legislative conference in our State’s Capitol.
With about 30 percent of the State Legislature turning over in the 2024 General Election, this year’s Special Districts Legislative Days is a must-attend event where special districts will come together to educate our newly-elected lawmakers on special districts and the communities and constituents we mutually serve.
The new legislative session promises to be another impactful year with a tenuous State Budget and ever-growing concern over challenging issues like housing, infrastructure, labor, governance, revenues, natural resources, and more that matter to all special districts whether they provide parks and recreation or other district services such as: water, sewer, fire protection, cemeteries, healthcare, mosquito abatement, ports, harbors, airports, or libraries.
