CARPD Legislative Committee
The CARPD Legislative Committee is an 11-member Committee comprised of 5 Board representatives and 6 Member representatives (2 of which are alternates). The alternates are able to vote in the absence of a Member Representative. Alternates should attend meetings in order to stay up to date on the activities and discussions of the Committee.
Responsibilities
- Proposes amending, supporting, or opposing legislation and regulations for the benefit of the CARPD membership;
 - Provides data and testimony in support of legislative positions;
 - Focuses on legislation that impacts member districts as identified in the CARPD Legislative Platform; and
 - Advises and makes recommendations to the CARPD Board regarding legislative activities.
